DESCRIPTION:Would you like to make a difference? Are you looking for service opportunities? \n\n\n\nJoin us for a half day to serve the poorest of the poor in the spirit of Mother Teresa. We will begin with fellowship and prayer at 9 a.m. and then separate into smaller groups to go comfort the elderly at a nursing home or do garden work for them\, help the Missionaries of Charity sisters in assisting low income families\, make lunch and serve at a homeless shelter\, organize items at a food pantry\, and/or feed the homeless on the streets. We finish by 12:30 p.m.\, but there will be lunch (optional) afterwards. \n\n\n\nThis is a family friendly event. Everyone that is planning to attend must RSVP here\, so we can let the places of service know how many people to expect. Please like us on Facebook\, follow us on Instagram to see the pictures\, and join GroupMe to be notified about upcoming events. Like Mother Teresa said\, “let us do something beautiful for God.” \n\n\n\nINSTRUCTIONS:1. Meet us in room # 152. Please consider attending 8 a.m. Mass beforehand if you could.2. This is where it begins but most of you will go to different locations after the fellowship\, orientation\, and prayer\, so don’t be late.3. DESCRIPTION:Project Finding Calcutta invites you to a day of retreat. It’s FREE of cost and the dinner will be provided. It’s also a family friendly event\, so bring your kids (and dogs too). Unplug yourself from the busyness of life and experience beauty and joy as you relax at the farm. We are a tired generation. We need to relearn the art of leisure. We also need you to commit to the whole day.
