DESCRIPTION:Would you like to make a difference? Are you looking for service opportunities? \n\n\n\nJoin us for a half day to serve the poorest of the poor in the spirit of Mother Teresa. We will begin with fellowship and prayer at 9 a.m. and then separate into smaller groups to go comfort the elderly at a nursing home or do garden work for them\, help the Missionaries of Charity sisters in assisting low income families\, make lunch and serve at a homeless shelter\, organize items at a food pantry\, and/or feed the homeless on the streets. We finish around Noon\, but there will be lunch (optional) afterwards. \n\n\n\nThis is a family friendly event. Everyone that is planning to attend must RSVP here\, so we can let the places of service know how many people to expect. Please like us on Facebook\, follow us on Instagram to see the pictures\, and join GroupMe to be notified about upcoming events. Like Mother Teresa said\, “let us do something beautiful for God.” \n\n\n\nINSTRUCTIONS:1. LOCATION: Meet us in room # 123. Please consider attending 8 a.m. Mass beforehand if you could.2. DESCRIPTION:Project Finding Calcutta invites you to a day of retreat. It’s FREE of cost and the dinner will be provided. It’s also a family friendly event\, so bring your kids (and dogs too). Unplug yourself from the busyness of life and experience beauty and joy as you relax at the farm. We are a tired generation. We need to relearn the art of leisure. We also need you to commit to the whole day. DESCRIPTION:WAR AGAINST SPIRITUAL POVERTY \n\n\n\nAll are welcome to our monthly symposium on spiritual poverty. This month we will meet at the Retreat Farm House immediately following PFC’s Service Project. Folks traditionally stop at Buc-ees for lunch before reaching the Farm by 2 PM. After games\, drinks\, and social\, there will be a discussion on the meaning of Spiritual Poverty\, how it is impacting the West\, and what we can do about it. It is followed by a communal dinner at 6 PM (provided)\, more social\, and bonfire.
