DESCRIPTION:Would you like to make a difference? Are you looking for service opportunities? \n\n\n\nJoin us for a half day to serve the poorest of the poor in the spirit of Mother Teresa. We will begin with fellowship and prayer at 9:30 a.m. and then separate into smaller groups to go comfort the elderly at nursing homes or do garden work for them\, help the Missionaries of Charity sisters in assisting low income families\, make lunch and serve at homeless shelters\, organize items at food pantries\, and/or feed the homeless on the streets. We usually finish around 12:30\, but there will be lunch (optional) afterwards. \n\n\n\nThis is a family friendly event. Everyone that is planning to attend must RSVP here\, so we can let the places of service know how many people to expect. Like Mother Teresa said\, “let us do something beautiful for God.” \n\n\n\nINSTRUCTIONS:1. If this is your first time volunteering with us\, please Register here first. Then RSVP below. \n\n\n\n2. Meet us in front of the Church. Please consider attending 9 a.m. Mass beforehand if you could. \n\n\n\n3. This is where it begins but most of you will go to different locations after the fellowship\, orientation\, and prayer\, so don’t be late. \n\n\n\n4. Not everyone will work in a soup kitchen or in a garden\, but please dress (casual) to be able to work wherever the need maybe. \n\n\n\n5. By serving with us\, you are agreeing to these terms and conditions (Liability Waiver). Everyone under 18 attending without a parent but with a chaperone should print the Liability Waiver and have it signed by the parent and give it to us at the event. \n\n\n\n6. DESCRIPTION:Join us for an UNPLUGGED afternoon to enjoy the Lord’s Day. Disconnect yourself from the busyness of life and experience joy as you relax. We are a tired generation. We need to relearn the art of leisure. \n\n\n\nPFC invites you to enjoy a delicious lunch (provided)\, play games\, chat\, pray and relax with one another’s company. We only have 2 rules. We commit to the whole afternoon. And we leave our cellphones on the kitchen counter. Feel free to bring special beverages\, but not required. \n\n\n\nSpots are limited because we are intentionally keeping these events smaller and you will be able to RSVP on first come first served basis. Registration will close when all the spots are filled. The venue will be confirmed the day before the event .
