DESCRIPTION:Would you like to make a difference? Are you looking for service opportunities? \n\n\n\nJoin us for a half day to serve the poorest of the poor in the spirit of Mother Teresa. We will begin with fellowship and prayer\, and then separate into smaller groups to go comfort the elderly at nursing homes\, work at a community garden\, help the Missionaries of Charity sisters in assisting low income families\, make lunch and serve at shelters\, organize items at food pantries\, or feed the homeless on the streets. Please come with an open mind to serve where the need is the greatest. \n\n\n\nLike Mother Teresa said\, “let us do something beautiful for God.” If you would like to join us please read the following. \n\n\n\n1. LOCATION: Please meet us at the School. \n\n\n\n2. PROJECTS: The event begins at the location below but most of you will go to different service sites after the orientation\, so please don’t be late. \n\n\n\n3. NEW VOLUNTEERS: serving with us for the first-time\, please Register here before RSVPing to this event. Every one/family must sign these waivers before volunteering. \n\n\n\n4. GROUPS: Please send us a message before bringing 10+ volunteers from your group. \n\n\n\n5. MINORS: By serving with us\, everyone is agreeing to these terms and conditions (Liability Waiver). We will begin with fellowship and prayer at 9:30 a.m. and then separate into smaller groups to go comfort the elderly at nursing homes or do garden work for them\, help the Missionaries of Charity sisters in assisting low income families\, make lunch and serve at homeless shelters\, organize items at food pantries\, and/or feed the homeless on the streets. We usually finish around 12:30\, but there will be lunch (optional) afterwards. \n\n\n\nThis is a family friendly event. Everyone that is planning to attend must RSVP here\, so we can let the places of service know how many people to expect. Like Mother Teresa said\, “let us do something beautiful for God.” \n\n\n\nINSTRUCTIONS:1. If this is your first time volunteering with us\, please Register here first. Then RSVP below. \n\n\n\n2. Meet us in front of the Church. Please consider attending 9 a.m. Mass beforehand if you could. \n\n\n\n3.
