DESCRIPTION:Would you like to make a difference? Are you looking for service opportunities? \n\n\n\nProject Finding Calcutta is very excited to welcome Vera Aqua Vera Vita to join us for a half day to serve the poorest of the poor in the spirit of Mother Teresa. Vera Aqua Vera Vita (VAVV) is a nonprofit dedicated to empowering communities in need through access to clean water\, sanitation\, and hygiene. We’re excited to bring this mission of dignity and hope into our local DFW community by serving with Project Finding Calcutta. We will begin with fellowship\, prayer\, and the orientation\, and then we separate into smaller groups to go comfort the elderly at nursing homes\, work at a community garden\, help the Missionaries of Charity sisters in assisting low income families or homeless pregnant women\, make lunch and serve at soup kitchens\, organize items at food pantries\, and/or feed the homeless on the streets. \n\n\n\nFollowing the service event\, all are invited to continue fellowship over lunch (optional)\, provided by Vera Aqua Vera Vita. \n\n\n\nThis is a family friendly event\, so children of all ages are welcome. We encourage everyone to RSVP here\, so we can let the places of service know how many people to expect. Like Mother Teresa said\, “let us do something beautiful for God.” \n\n\n\nSPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS: \n\n\n\n1. LOCATION: Please meet us under the carport\, between Jesus and Mary. \n\n\n\n2. PROJECTS: The event begins at the location below but most of you will go to different service sites after the orientation\, so please don’t be late. \n\n\n\n3. NEW VOLUNTEERS: serving with us for the first-time\, please Register here before RSVPing to this event. Everyone must sign these waivers before volunteering. One Waiver per family is sufficient. \n\n\n\n4. GROUPS: Please send us a message before bringing 10+ volunteers from your group. \n\n\n\n5. MINORS: By serving with us\, everyone is agreeing to these terms and conditions (Liability Waiver). DESCRIPTION:Would you like to make a difference? Are you looking for service opportunities? \n\n\n\nJoin us for a half day to serve the poorest of the poor in the spirit of Mother Teresa. Feel free to bring your musical instruments. Caroling ends around Noon. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAfterwards\, we are throwing a Christmas party with Lunch\, Cookie Exchange and a PickleBall tournament (at UD). Please bring 2 dozen cookies. One for the homeless and one for exchange. We’ll start the party around 12:30 PM. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nChristmas party is at ANSELM HALL\, UNIVERSITY OF DALLAS.
