SUMMARY:Dallas Volunteers @ University of Dallas
DESCRIPTION:Would you like to make a difference? Are you looking for service opportunities? \n\n\n\nJoin us for a half day to serve the poorest of the poor in the spirit of Mother Teresa. We will begin with fellowship\, prayer\, and the orientation\, and then we separate into smaller groups to go comfort the elderly at nursing homes\, serve at soup kitchens\, and/or feed the homeless on the streets. \n\n\n\nMost weeks\, we continue the fellowship by grabbing lunch together (optional) after serving. Some students will catch the 12:05 PM Mass at UD. \n\n\n\nThis is a family friendly event\, so children of all ages are welcome. We encourage everyone to RSVP here\, so we can let the places of service know how many people to expect. Like Mother Teresa said\, “let us do something beautiful for God.” \n\n\n\nSPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS: \n\n\n\n1. LOCATION: Meet us at the UD Tower. \n\n\n\n2. PROJECTS: The event begins at the location below but most of you will go to different service sites after the orientation\, so please don’t be late. \n\n\n\n3. NEW VOLUNTEERS: serving with us for the first-time\, please Register here before RSVPing to this event. Everyone must sign these waivers before volunteering. One Waiver per family is sufficient. \n\n\n\n4. GROUPS: Please send us a message before bringing 10+ volunteers from your group. \n\n\n\n5. MINORS: By serving with us\, everyone is agreeing to these terms and conditions (Liability Waiver). SUMMARY:Dilexi Te Lecture Series – I Have Loved You
DESCRIPTION:School of Service: AN INESCAPABLE CHALLENGE FOR THE CHURCH TODAY(A Dilexi Te Lecture) \n\n\n\nThe School of Service is a collaborative initiative offering a deeper look into the Catholic Church’s Social Teachings. In 2026\, we are dealing with a new kind of poverty in a new world. Rapidly changing technology is shaping societies and changing lifestyles. \n\n\n\nProject Finding Calcutta is partnering with University of Dallas Campus Ministry to unpack Pope Leo’s first apostolic exhortation\, Dilexi Te. This brief and powerful document addresses different kinds of poverty and what our duties are as Christians. Come and be enlightened by the wisdom of the Church and what it means to quench Jesus’ thirst. \n\n\n\nThe event begins with fellowship over lunch\, followed by a presentation and a small group workshop. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nVENUE \n\n\n\nThe lecture will take place at the UD Catholic Center in the Anselm Hall at University of Dallas. Please follow the signs for Anselm Hall (or ask any student on Campus). After you locate the building\, you will find us at the Catholic Center on the 2nd floor.

SUMMARY:Charity Run and Serve
DESCRIPTION:“Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow has not yet come. We have only Today. Let us begin.” – MOTHER TERESA \n\n\n\nProject Finding Calcutta is excited to continue the tradition of the Annual Charity 5K Run. We want this event to be both fun and meaningful. We will give you snacks\, rosaries\, and water to run with\, and to be able to hand out to the poor. \n\n\n\nSpots are limited. We will accept the first 99 paid registrations. In order to participate\, you need RSVP below. \n\n\n\nWe meet at the Dallas City Hall and after the check-in\, instructions\, and prayer we run to the Cathedral. We are glad you want to be a part of it.
