We will begin with check-in\, fellowship\, and prayer at 9 a.m. and then separate into smaller groups to go comfort the elderly at nursing homes or do garden work for them\, help the Missionaries of Charity sisters in assisting low income families\, make lunch and serve at homeless shelters\, organize items at food pantries\, and/or feed the homeless on the streets. We usually finish around Noon\, but there will be lunch (optional) afterwards. \n\n\n\nThis is a family friendly event. Everyone that is planning to attend must RSVP here\, so we can let the places of service know how many people to expect. Like Mother Teresa said\, “let us do something beautiful for God.” \n\n\n\nINSTRUCTIONS:1. If this is your first time with us\, please complete the New Volunteer Registration. \n\n\n\n2. Meet us at the Tower on Campus. \n\n\n\n3. This is where it begins but most of you will go to different locations after the fellowship\, orientation\, and prayer\, so don’t be late. \n\n\n\n4. Not everyone will work in a soup kitchen or in a garden\, but please dress (casual) to be able to work wherever the need maybe. \n\n\n\n5. DESCRIPTION:Join us for an UNPLUGGED afternoon to enjoy the Lord’s Day. Disconnect yourself from the busyness of life and experience joy as you relax. We are a tired generation. We need to relearn the art of leisure. \n\n\n\nPFC invites you to enjoy a delicious lunch (provided)\, play games\, chat\, pray and relax with one another’s company. We only have 2 rules. We commit to the whole afternoon. And we leave our cellphones on the kitchen counter. Feel free to bring special beverages\, but not required. \n\n\n\nSpots are limited because we are intentionally keeping these events smaller and you will be able to RSVP on first come first served basis. Registration will close when all the spots are filled. The venue will be confirmed the day before the event .

We need to relearn the art of leisure. \n\n\n\nPFC invites you to enjoy a delicious lunch (provided)\, play games\, chat\, pray and relax with one another’s company. We only have 2 rules. We commit to the whole afternoon. And we leave our cellphones on the kitchen counter. Feel free to bring special beverages\, but not required. \n\n\n\nSpots are limited because we are intentionally keeping these events smaller and you will be able to RSVP on first come first served basis. Registration will close when all the spots are filled. The venue will be confirmed a few days before the event .
