At Project Finding Calcutta, we believe that every Christian ought to find his/her own Calcutta and live it out for the love of God. Your faith bears fruit when it is lived out.
Friends helping each other out is also charity but the gospel charity goes beyond that. We encourage people to love the poor, sick, suffering, and the lonely like Christ did. St. Paul did it and told us, "be imitators of me as I am of Christ". So where do we begin?
When you join our Small Circle, you are making the commitment to spare 1% of your time to love your neighbors. It doesn't have to be through PFC. But if you don't find other relevant opportunities, you are certainly welcome to join us as we serve as a group every week.
If all Christians in the world make their neighbors a priority, there will be less pain, suffering, poverty, and loneliness in the world. Please consider joining our movement and make big ripples. Click here to learn more...
Those who have been to Calcutta on mission trips with us and witnessed the fruits of Mother Teresa’s mission, are partnering with local charities to serve the poorest of the poor in the United States. Like St. Teresa of Calcutta said, “you can find Calcutta all over the world… if you have eyes to see”. Our humble mission in the US is growing to more cities.
I noticed a homeless man wearing a KoC Rosary and thought "Don't be scared, have a conversation with him." I asked him his name and about the rosary he was wearing. We talked a little and I noticed he wasn't asking for anything, but was smiling. When we were done talking, I happened to pass by a CVS and ran in and got some food for him and his friend. We were lucky to find him a few blocks down and was able to share with him what we had bought.

PFC inspired me by the way, so I coordinated a food drive for my neighborhood and took it to the Food Pantry. I had 2 carloads full of food!
