DFW Friendsgiving on the Streets

November 29, 2025 @ 9:00 am 1:00 pm CST

Join us for a half day to serve the poorest of the poor in the spirit of Mother Teresa. We will begin with fellowship, prayer, and the orientation at the MCs, and then we go downtown to feed the homeless on the streets.

You are encouraged to prepare/buy food, package it individually, and bring it in personal coolers to share with love. Those who cannot bring any food, we will provide water and chips to hand out. Everyone can engage in dialog and prayer with the poor on the streets.

PLEASE PACK IN SUCH A WAY THAT THE FOOD IS READY TO BE DISTRIBUTED INDIVIDUALLY. We WILL NOT set up tables to serve buffet style. We will not wait for the homeless to come to our tables. We go to them on the street corners as a group.

This is a family friendly event, so children of all ages are welcome. Service opportunities change every week based on the number of our volunteers and the needs of our community partners. We encourage everyone to RSVP here, so we can prepare accordingly. Like Mother Teresa said, “let us do something beautiful for God.”
